Eligibility Criteria

Lower Kindergarten (LKG): Completed 3 years by 15 March. Siblings of existing students get first preference.
Upper Kindergarten (UKG): Completed 4 years by 15 March.
Class 1: Completed 5 years by 15 March.
Admissions to all classes depend on availability of seats.
For UKG and above, admission is based on performance in the entrance test.
Students from other schools must submit a Transfer Certificate.

Obtain the admission file from the school office.

Return the completed file with all required documents and your pre-registration number. Await further advice from the office.

Admissions are granted strictly on merit.

Fees are payable in three installments:

Student ID card required at fee counter. Fees once paid are not refundable. Full term fee is charged if a student leaves during the term.

Prescribed fees may change as per Ministry of Education instructions. Failure to pay on time must be notified to the Principal.

Promotion is based on performance in tests and examinations conducted during the academic year.

Absence from a test/exam (except annual) may be considered on merit at the time of promotion.
A student who does not appear for the annual examination will not be considered for promotion.
A student who fails twice in the same class must discontinue schooling at UIS.
In matters of promotion and detention, the decision of the school is final.
Use of unfair means will result in failure in that subject and is recorded as misconduct.

Students leaving in April must apply for Transfer Certificate by 15 January.
TC for India must be countersigned by the Indian Embassy.
TC is issued only after results are declared and all dues are cleared.
For withdrawal at any other time, apply to the Principal at least a fortnight in advance.
